ACCESS CONTROL SERVICES
RF CONTROLS With automobile manufacturers building code copiers directly into todays cars, it's easy for a supposedly "secure" RF transmitter code to get into the wrong hands. This can't happen with MicroPLUS RF controls. MicroPLUS RF controls provide you with the highest level of security available with RF access controls. Our coding and encryption schemes are not shared with other producers, resulting in transmitter codes that cannot be duplicated or copied. With MicroPLUS controls, you are assured that only the original intended transmitter will activate your access system. MicroPLUS controls are not compatible with the Homelink system found in many automobiles. Use our MicroCLIK product line for compatability with the Homelink system. PROXIMITY CARD READERS KB Access Solutions carries a full line of DKS, AWID and HID proximity card readers and cards. These readers output the card data to the access controller (1833, 1835, 1837 or 1838) where the decision to grant or deny access is made. These readers are ideal for both pedestrian and vehicular access control. Proximity cards transmit their information to the card reader without any physical contact. This provides an easy to use vandal resistant system. Access is granted when a valid card is presented to the card reader. Dimensions of the various card readers available vary with the reader make and the read distance. As a general rule of thumb, the longer the read distance, the larger the card reader. ADVANCED FEATURES Because physical contact is not required, proximity cards can transmit their data through common building materials like: concrete, brick, stone, drywall, plaster, glass, wood, plastic...in fact, through anything but metal. Proximity card readers are maintenance free. There are no parts to wear out or adjust. Passive card technology provides and unlimited number of "card reads" with no battery to wear out. Active cards provide a much longer read range, but use a battery that will wear out in time (2-years approximately) and require replacement of the card. Passive cards, unless they are physically abused, will last virtually forever.

1500 DIGITAL The DKS 1500 series family of keypads provides access control for virtually any application where digital code entry is desired and they are available for stand-alone applications or for connection to an access controller. These vandal resistant keypads (except 1509) use stainless steel faceplates, galvanized steel sub-plates and are housed in a rugged steel cabinet. The 1503 and 1506 series keypads are available in surface or flush mount styles. The 1509 is designed for indoor applications and mounts in a single-gang electrical box. The 1504 model adds an intercom substation to the 1503 or 1506 series allowing voice communication via connection to a master intercom station. STANDARD FEATURES - ALL MODELS Ideal for controlling doors or gates. Add or delete individual codes from the keypad. "Hold" codes to latch open a door or gate. EEPROM Memory. LED Lighting (lighted units only). 1520 STAND-ALONE The model 1520 provides users with a full feature single door stand-alone access control system. The 1520 is available with a built-in proximity card reader or can be ordered as a single door controller allowing the user to add their own 26-bit access control device. The 1520 is available in two configurations: with a built-in card reader or as a single door controller only. Contact your professional DKS system installer for more information about this and other DKS products. ADVANCED FEATURES Built-in proximity card reader (available with DKS, AWID or HID reader). Built-in clock/calendar. Four time zones. Four hold open time zones. Clock and transaction buffer maintain data for up to 3 days in the event of a power failure. Print menu. Real time print mode. Built-in programming keypad. Timed anti-pass back. MAGNETIC DOOR LOCKS The DKML (DoorKing Magnetic Lock) series of magnetic locks offer a wide range of high quality electro-magnetic locks (1200, 600 and 300 Lb locks) and brackets to accommodate almost any access control door locking requirement. We also offer a 2000 Lb shear lock which provides both a magnetic and mechanical connection. Magnetic locks have no moving parts to wear out or break and are virtually indestructible. Most locks are available in both surface and flush mount designs and can be ordered with special options such as LED lock status indicators, signal relays and built-in timers for automatic re-lock after a preset time period. MAGNETIC GATE LOCKS The DKGL (DoorKing Gate Lock) series of magnetic locks are designed for outdoor gate applications. Magnetic locks have no moving parts to wear out or break and are virtually indestructible. 1200 Lb locks are typically used for vehicular gate applications while the 600 Lb lock is used for pedestrian gate applications. The 1200 Lb locks are available in kit form which makes installation quick and easy. The kits include predrilled and tapped lock and armature mounting brackets that can be welded to the gate. The magnetic lock and armature are then bolted to the brackets with the supplied hardware. ELECTRIC LOCKS Electric strikes offer an economical way to secure standard doors and are suitable for most cylindrical door locks. Fail-safe and fail-secure strikes are available. Electric dead bolts provide superior security and safety and include fail-safe operation for doors and gates. Dead bolt options include lock sensor, door sensor or lock and door sensor models to indicate status of the lock (locked, unlocked) and/or door (open, closed). 1838 ACCESS CONTROLLER THE MODEL 1838 multi-door access controller is ideal for small businesses, office buildings, factories, industrial sites, apartment complexes, or for any application that requires access control and reporting capabilities. The 1838 is a 2-door controller that easily expands to control up to 16 doors. This flexible system allows you to control access by means of encoded cards, five digit PINs (Personal Identification Number), wireless RF control, or with almost any 26-bit weigand devices. With a 3000 user capacity, 8000 card code capacity and 8000 event history buffer, 31 security levels, elevator control and more, the 1838 out performs other controllers in its class.
